BCI & Neurotech spring school 2024

From April 22nd to May 1st, one of the premier events in Brain Computer Interface (BCI) and Neuroscience unfolds: the BCI & Neurotechnology Spring School, orchestrated by g.tec, an esteemed partner in the META-BRAIN project.

BCI & Neurotechnology Spring School 2024 emerges from g.tec‘s commitment to advancing knowledge and showcasing cutting-edge BCI and Neurotech in an event that brings together professionals from all converging disciplines. A committed partner of the META-BRAIN initiative, g.tec, a leading medical engineering firm, develops and produces high-performance brain-computer interfaces and neurotechnologies for both invasive and non-invasive recordings, serving research and clinical purposes.

The previous Spring School edition drew over 15,000 attendees from 113 countries, spanning biomedical engineers, neuroscientists, developers, researchers, therapists, and neurologists, all keen to immerse themselves in the forefront of innovations in the field. On average, Spring School 2024 offers 140 hours of state-of-the-art education spread over 10 days, featuring 85 speakers from 86 institutions. Attendees can participate in 44 Hackathon projects led by 15 hosts, all aimed at pushing the boundaries of neurotechnology.

Joining forces with g.tec, another pivotal partner in the META-BRAIN project, Dr. Mavi Sánchez, MD, PhD, from IDIBAPS, will take the stage as one of the distinguished speakers on the second day’s theme: “STATE-OF-THE-ART NEUROMODULATION.” Dr. Sánchez will delve into the intricacies of Cortical dynamics and neurotechnological challenges, representing the Institut d’Investigacions Biomèdiques August Pi i Sunyer (IDIBAPS), the driving force behind the META-BRAIN project.

The presence of two strategic partners from the META-BRAIN project at one of the most prominent events in BCI & Neuroscience underscores the profound expertise and wide-ranging interest in the latest innovations.
